Creating the perfect Christmas Card!

It is our aim to help create fabulous festive designs which everyone will be very proud of.  We would like the project to be a positive experience for all taking part.  Every year we see many thousands of designs and many really stand out as having that 'wow' factor, some do not work quite so well. With that in mind we have put together the following Design Tips and Ideas which we hope will be both helpful and informative.

The following things work really well...

Bright, bold designs - covering as much of the white space as possible with strong colour

Remember to use ONLY felt-tips, coloured pencils (press hard please) and water-based paints!

The following things don't work well...

Leaving large amounts of white paper with no colour or detail or including light pencil sketches

Smudges, dirty marks, paint splodges or unwanted fingerprints on the design

Scribbles, mis-spellings or crossing things out - best stick to pictures as there is a greeting inside the card!

Children taking the design sheets home to complete alone - this also takes away the surprise element for parents as when completed at school, the first time they see the proof is when the child brings it home to show & order.

Important!

Please remember that designs incorporating glitter, charcoal, oil-based paints, collage, glue, crayons, pastels, chalk or art medium other than recommended cannot be processed.
